  • Courts in the Community Brings Judicial System to OHS

    On Friday, November 19, Overland hosted the Colorado Court of Appeals for two oral arguments. Since 1986, Courts in the Community has been giving students a first-hand experience in how the Colorado judicial system works and how disputes are resolved in a democratic society.   • Free Food Market Serves O-Zone Families

    Through the Emergency Relief Fund and with the help of our Community Liaison, Sara Khatib, over 75 families from Prairie and Overland were able to take advantage of a mobile food pantry on November 17. The next event is scheduled for December 15.

  • Twenty Students Place at FCCLA Districts

    Congratulations to our 20 students who placed at the FCCLA District Conference: Kaytlyn Sierra – 2nd Place in Pastry Decorating; Sugin Park – 1st Place in Fashion Sketch; Michelle Vazquez Ganbat – 2nd Place in Fashion Stylist; Kiana Lewis – 3rd place in Fashion Stylist; Theresa Amouzou – 1st Place in Interview Skills; Lillian Nelson – 3rd Place in Interview Skills; Aaisha Eisie – 1st Place in FCCLA Creed Speaking; and Yohana Liban – 2nd Place in FCCLA Creed Speaking. In addition, Luciano Mary and Yohana Liban both represented Overland as district officers who planned and ran the event!

    Congratulations to senior Luciano Mary for receiving the President's Volunteer Service Award Gold Medal from the White House. He received this award and a signed letter from President Biden for his extensive community service from January-July, 2021 (275 hours)!
