Dear Buffalo Trail Community,

I am honored to serve as the principal of Buffalo Trail Elementary School. As we are embarking upon another school year, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome our new families as well as welcome back our returning families.

Our commitment to academic excellence remains true to our district’s promise: dedicated to excellence. We at Buffalo Trail are devoted to creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their highest potential. 

In the upcoming school year, we will be focusing on literacy with the goal to foster a lifelong love of reading as well as improve literacy outcomes for all students. We believe that strong literacy skills are the foundation for all learning, and we are excited to see our students grow as readers and writers.

We are also committed to promoting equity and inclusivity within our school. We believe that every student deserves an equitable and inclusive educational experience, and we are dedicated to making this a reality at Buffalo Trail

Our school community also focuses on the social and emotional well-being of our students. We follow our SPIRIT pillars-Safety, Positivity, Integrity, Resilience, Inclusivity, and Team Player and find many ways to celebrate our students and staff as they show examples of our pillars each day.
