“This is my first year as a head coach and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of boys for my first season,” said Creek Head Coach Cara Quayle. “They fought hard all season long, they fought hard all weekend long, they fought hard in all three matches today, and they battled and played their hearts out all season.”

Creek, Eaglecrest and Cherokee Trail were part of the double-elimination, eight-team field, which began play on Thursday at Overland.

Cherokee Trail fell to Discovery Canyon, three sets to none, in their opening match, and then were eliminated by Regis Jesuit, 3 sets to 2, on Thursday night. The Cougars finish at 18-7.
