Here are a few tips, tricks, and reminders to help make the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up as smooth and safe as possible.

Students can be dropped off at 8:30; doors open at 8:40. Drop-off and Pick-up occurs from the outer lane only. Continue to pull forward as far as possible and then have your student ready to exit the car the first time you’re stopped alongside the sidewalk.  Do not have your child exit the car from the inside lane.  The only time a student should exit a car inside the parking lot is if the car is parked. 

The same options are available for pick-up in the afternoon.  While we understand waiting in line can be frustrating, the volume of cars is just a reality. 

When exiting onto Harvest Road during drop-off and pick-up times, it is a right turn only. This is the most efficient and safe process. We have consulted with District Security and The City of Aurora, and they concur that the issue is the vast number of cars dropping off, and that if drivers obey laws and are courteous drivers, all students can be dropped off and picked up safely.  Citizens may report unsafe driving to the police.
