Laredo Honored as an Official No Place For Hate School!
The Laredo Mental Health Team has been working hard over the last several years to promote inclusion as a social standard at our school.
To that end we have partnered with the Anti-Defamation League’s ‘No Place For Hate’ program as a structured means of educating students and staff about combating bias in all forms.
Our No Place For Hate student group has received specific education from NPFH, and has taken tangible steps toward inclusion, including supporting the Unified Basketball program, and launching a meaningful kindness campaign.
This work has now been recognized by the Anti-Defamation League’s Mountain States Region, resulting in Laredo Middle School being officially designated as a 2019/2020 No Place for Hate® School!
What an honor!
Congratulations to our No Place For Hate sponsors, Counselor Brooke Tepe and Social Worker Jessica Kendall, as well as our dedicated students and staff for achieving this worthy recognition!
