At the Youth Celebrates Diversity Conference, Kelly Osuna and Caity White, along with other members of Teachers United for Immigrant Rights, presented to educators across the state. Their presentation was about supporting our undocumented and first-generation students.
Members of Students United for Immigrant Rights presented to students and educators from across the state. Their presentation was titled "Home is Here! The Immigrant Experience" and helped attendees learn about the plight of immigrant students, how to recognize citizenship privilege and how to be an ally for their immigrant classmates and friends.
