Speech & Debate Victorious in First Tournament

The Speech and Debate coaches (Ms. Olsen, Ms. Barrette, and Mrs. Ford) want to congratulate our novices for participating in their first speech tournament!  If you see them, please congratulate them. 

• Jayla Lee performed Mockingbird in Drama

• Fatimah Alshammariin LD debate

• Azza Hassan gave a speech in Original Oratory

We also had 5 students who earned awards!   

In Lincoln-Douglas Debate:  

• Anis Elgomati earned an excellent award

In Original Oratory, 

• Aaisha Eisa earned an excellent award
• And Hana Kebede earned a superior award, meaning she won two of her three rounds!

And last but not least, in Public Forum Debate

• Sabirin Jama and her partner
• Sityena Muzeyen worked together to earn a superior award, meaning they also won two of their three rounds!
