20 CCIC Business Services students competed in the virtual DECA District competition that took place November 9-17th. Students completed a 100-question online test and recorded a video response to a role play scenario that they had limited time to prepare for at home.
10 CCIC students earned top performer awards and qualified for the state competition!
State Qualifier Award Winners: Yashwant Chapagain, Taliyah Claiborne, Josh Forkell, Jayed Khan, Ella Mahaffy, Miriam Meyers, Charles O'Donnell IV, Rediet Petros, Izabella Sterling and Graham Thatcher
Miriam Meyers and Rediet Petros also passed the DCEA State Officer candidate exam and are moving on to the next round of interviews!
