Over spring break, three CCIC students competed with their Grandview CyberPatriot team in Maryland at the CyberPatriot National Finals Competition hosted by the Air Force Association.
To qualify, the team had to place in the top 12 of almost 3,000 teams in the open division! At nationals, they were tasked to defend a simulated business network in real-time, keeping important network services up while active red team members attempted to attack their network. In addition, they needed to configure Cisco networking equipment according to pre-defined requirements.
