Sierra Nevada Corporation recently donated two Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) from the planes used in the Nightmare Taskforce. The commander of the unit, Lt. Col. Guzman, and his team presented the APUs and spent time speaking with students about the importance of Aviation Mechanics.
This donation is greatly appreciated and will benefit our powerplant program at the CCIC. The tools will serve as valuable learning resources for our students as they study APUs and turbine engines. This contribution will enhance their educational experience and better prepare them for entering the workforce.
