DEN Academy Applications Open for Students in 7th-10th Grade

Denver International Airport (DEN) is seeking young aviators interested in discovering the world of aviation this summer. Through DEN Academy, students in 7th through 10th grade will receive an introduction to the world of aviation through interactive learning, critical thinking and team projects.

Participating students will get an inside look at the airport through virtual presentations from DEN professionals and virtual tours. DEN Academy will be held once a week on Thursdays, June 24 through July 15. The academy will also include weekly hands-on projects using household objects.

Who: Students entering 7th grade to 10th grade next school year

Dates: Thursdays from June 24 through July 15

Time: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Location: Zoom, link will be sent out to participants closer to the start date

Cost: Free
